Bullet HD free

Hi!
I am thinking about buying a camera to mount on the helmet or bike. Everyone is talking about the Go Pro hero 2. What about the Bullet HD free? Seems to be very new on the market, makes a good impression and from what I have read I would like it more.
Any infos/experiences?
Thanks!

I did not want a camera on my helmet so I used a RAM Mount and some hardware from the photo shop to mount a cheap camera on my handlebars.
I use a FUJI AX 300 that I bought for € 44. If it rains I take it of the mount and put it in my tankbag but with dry weather I can take pictures or video.
You can see some of my videos on http://regiorit.blogspot.nl/
A lot of "riding" pictures I made are in my latest trip report: http://jkrijt.home.xs4all.nl/trips/n2g2/index.shtml
I bought the RAM Mount second hand so it was cheap and it works fine for me.

I went with the drift, mainly because it has a video screen on the side, the lens rotates so it can be lined up accurately but most of all because I did not want a boxy looking thing hanging in the airflow, I wanted streamlined

The Contour is also streamlined and I guess the bullet would be too, from the name only.

You need to work out where you will use it and what screen resolution you want, plus how big a memory card it can take

there is a really good reason why everyone is talking about the Go Pro HD 2 - its awesome.

as a camera its ok at best, but for Video its the bomb. the in built stabilisation for vibrating vehicles is totally tremendous. get one its worth it.

: )
Got it a week ago. The fact that I got for 100$ less because of the new Hero3 made the choice easier.
Thanks

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
