Auto-Backup to google photos https://photos.google.com/ Free and unlimited storage up to a certain file size, and share them from there

You realize your post is BLANK ... no photo displayed!
Free is great ... but not always reliable.
Try SmugMug. Not free but very comprehensive. 10 years with them, all pics still up on various forums. I pay $30 a year, might be a bit more now.

Since the Photobucket theft saga started, I've also used Google photos. I upload the images, right click on the image on my PC (using Google Chrome browser) and "Copy image location". Then paste this where ever I want the image to appear. Before this "location" code I type the required [img] and after it [/img] tags and .....
So far it's still free....

Cardinal rule of Internet services: if you are not paying money, you are not the customer - you are the product being sold.
Google Photos is not designed for hotlinking. You can, sort of, but there is no guarantee those URLs will stay stable - to Google, it only matters if the photos still show up in their own interfaces. Plus, Google absolutely has a history of deciding some broadly used service is not interesting to them and shutting it down with little warning. (And I say this as someone who has paid Google for extra storage space on Drive/Photos.)
Most reliable long-term for hotlinking so far has been Flickr. But you have to pay them at some point. And they sometimes make stupid decisions that break their user experience.
Even more reliable? Buy your own webhosting and put up your own photos. Upload via FTP, have your own clear folder structure, makes hotlinking easiest.
Once again: no free service is reliable, and if you are not paying, you have no moral right to complain.

That's good ... But I don't see your pic on either Safari (Apple), Firefox or Chrome. Did not try Bing ... I've never used it.
I used Picasa for about 5 years, it was pretty good. Then Google got "smart" and redesigned the whole site ... and it's now UNUSABLE for me.
I can barely get my pics out of Picasa and back onto my SmugMug page.
Picasa are mostly back up duplicates so no big deal.
What I like about SmugMug is the PEOPLE. Actual live people! I'm an idiot regards computer tech. I can call SmugMug staff just about any time night or day and actually get a REAL person on the phone or in Chat or email.
VERY fast response, they always make time for me and make it easy to understand to those who are not IT savvy.
Being on the road posting pics ... I'm generally in trouble regards handling web issues away from home. I get the kids around to help me out. Never fails.

Postimage is what you want.
Specifically designed for online storage and sharing, works a treat and is FREE. I don't know how much storage space you get but I'm sure you could investigate.

Understood and gladly accepted. (although hard to see how that might apply to my use of Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office, Open Street Maps, Foxit, Whats App, Skype, IrfanView, various media players, iOverlander, mapsme, and a hundred other apps and millions of free on-line services - none of which have put the bite on me for a cent over many, many years)
I pay nothing to Google and in return Google automatically backs up about 55,000 images plus a lot of documents for free, it provides free calendar and reminder services, free search engine, free spam-free email services for several addresses, free browser software (both add-free since it doesn't object to add-blockers), free multilanguage translation service, free mapping apps, Picasa on-line (still working well enough) plus a few other free services from its subsidiaries.
Fair exchange, no robbery I reckon.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
