Dublin, Ireland: BMW mechanic
Hi,
I know a great BMW mechanic in Dublin, Ireland...
Who: Grattan BMW (ask for Eugene)
What: BMW garage, mainly cars, but does BMW bikes as well.
Where: Lower Mount St, Dublin 2, Ireland, phone +353 1 678 5511
Comments: Down to earth and sensible, not like those rip-off-merchants (you know who you are, Maddocks) in Bray.

They are no longer at Lower Mount St, they have moved. They are now beside Harolds Cross bridge, behind the nissan garage. Phone numbers still the same though.
And they are very helpful if you call in for advice.

Ah! Thanks for that. I have a service booked in for my R1150RT with them in a few weeks, and I would have been arriving there at 08:00 on a Saturday, with no idea where they had moved to.

Thanks for the Info.
I live only 100km from there and like everyone else I am sick of the rip off merchants.
I am going to ride my 1200GS from cape town to Cairo in july ( actually I will finish in Israel).
I 'll give those guy a shout straight away as I need to talk to someone who will give me some straight forward advice on how to do running repairs

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
