Mechanic in Buenos Aires
Hey all,
After a high side at 120km/h I've got a fairly damaged GS F700 down in San Antonio Oesta with no instrument cluster, ruined handlebars, and the forks should probably be checked as the front right caliper snapped off - but it may just be worth repairing. The engine/electrics still work fine, just no speedo/lights/indicators, or anything on the handlebars. Not looking for a full OEM replacement, just enough to keep it running.
Can anyone recommend an easy/inexpensive way to get the bike up to Buenos Aires? Trying to see if it's worth repairing or not, as I imagine it will be fairly expensive (Argentina hasn't been cheap for motorbike parts to date) and shipping/trucking may cost a chunk..
In addition, and the reason why I'm posting in this sub-forum, anyone able to recommend any good mechanics in BA? More looking to get it back up and running as opposed to a full rebuild.
Cheers,
Klaus
