request Workshop in Bariloche

Can anyone recommend a workshop in BAriloche for my F650GS? Got problems with the electrics.
There are lots of companies renting F650s in Bariloche, surely there must be a workshop????
Thanks!

Argentina Bariloche

hope this helps tho might be late for you Maria. don't recall address but:

Avenida los Pioneros, about 1 km south of the centre and up a steep hill. pass a little supermarket on RHS then as slope flattens out on your RHS.

a company called CTork, mechanic Alex. He speaks English and Italian as well as spanish and they service it seems all the rental bmw bikes around those parts.

i pulled apart both ends of my r11gs in their workshop a few weeks ago, they were happy to have me in their space for a week. though i am a little to report that the repair he made to my shock only lasted a couple thousand km. in his defence he did dry to recycle a part which was very hard to get even in mendoza.

don't expect any happy surprises on part prices.

cheers,
andy

Ha ha, the very same chap 'sorted' my fork seals on my 1150GS for about 240 pesos which then promptly blew again a couple of days later as he obviously hadn't bled the forks. After that, I decided I'll do all my own work on my bike that I possibly can, unless it was balancing the carbs as I always mess that up!

Yes I found that workshop, or more precisely my bike was towed away there when it died on me in the middle of nowhere!!

They replaced the Voltage regulator and talked bulshit about my (minor) electric problems. Did not repair them! They also broke a small plastic bit by over tightening a screw.

Only workshop in Bariloche though, so if you use them, make sure you are watching them when they work on your bike!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
