I just arrived back home in Victoria, BC, Canada after my solo trip to Yaviza, Panama and back. For those who are interested I have a blog at www.scrabblebiker.com. Typical day: 250 to 350km's

Mechanical difficulties: brake light stuck on and nothing else
Pulled over by cops: 3 times (1 bogus, 1 legitimate, 1 stretching it a bit)
Tickets received: 0
Warnings received: 1 (Idaho - justified)
Bribes paid: 1 ($5 - Nicaragua - stretching it a bit)
Bribes refused to pay: 1 (Honduras - bogus)
Bad people encountered: 0
Nice, friendly, helpful people encountered: too many to count
Things I wished I had left at home: Camping and cooking gear
Favourite country: 9 way tie. They're all awesome in their own way
