Hello,
It's been a while since I posted something here but all is fine and we made to India so far. We have started in Poland and crossed Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Pakistan in over two months and almost 18.000 km. We are now enjoying the most epic motorcycle roads in the Indian Himalayas and afterwards we’ll continue our route east to explore SE Asia.
We have started to feel how our mindsets are changing from regular, day to day approach into the living on the road one. There were some very nice surprises on the way like Iran and Pakistan – countries we either didn’t know much about (Iran) or only heard the bad news about (Pakistan). We met fantastic people on the way, had a lot of very interesting conversations that helped us understand the places we traveled through. It is a wonderful feeling to have this journey and we are enjoying living our lifetime dream now.
We keeping trying to keep our blog up to date with articles and video summaries of each part of our trip. Below are the three episodes we have made so far.
First one covers the first leg of the trip, from Poland to Azerbaijan. As written before we have spent some time in Russia as we got stuck there a bit.
The only border with Georgia was closed due to landslide and at that time we didn't have the Azerbaijani visa yet. All ended well and we didn't get deported as a couple days before our visas went out of validity period the border opened.
Georgia was a country we knew from previous motorcycle trips and we absolutely love so we have visited some old friends there. Azerbaijan was the first country on the way that we have visited for the first time. We were amused by how Baku looks like.

Second one is all about Iran. The country we knew nothing about and which turned out to be stunning. Variety of different landscapes was something we haven't seen before and we just fell in love with very hospitable and caring people. We would love to come back and see the places we deliberately missed due to very high temperatures. Our thermometers highest reading (while riding - not just standing in the sun
) was 49 degrees Celsius ( 120 Fahrenheit), which made the ride a bit painful.

Last one so far made is a summary of our riding through Pakistan. We were given a Police escort since the moment we crossed the border in Taftan and that continued up to Islamabad. It makes riding very difficult and we felt our freedom was limited so from time to time we just couldn't help ourselves from twisting the throttle and running away.
We have driven the Pakistani part of Karakoram Highway and saw Nanga Parbat at sunrise. People's hospitality is enormous as well and the traffic won't let you stay relaxed for even a second.
