Kenya on a Rental Kibo 250
$25 a day, picked up in Nairobi (also Mombasa). Did 4000kms around Kenya and also popped over the border to visit Kilimanjaro. Loads of fun! Just need some money for the rental and your passport, I don't recall them asking to see my licence! Beware of oncoming lorries and some horrible car drivers forcing you into the scooter lanes. Kibo is quite good but quite underpowered. Managed to get it repaired here and there and had two punctures which were repaired for $1. Due to the rains we left our camping equipment behind and just AirBnB'd it and a few cheap local hotels. Did all my own cooking. Lake Turkana, Eldoret, Nakuru, Lamu Island, Malindi, Mombasa, etc. Moshi and Arusha and Kilimanjaro in TZ.

PS Just bought a TTR600ER and thinking of riding to Northern Cyprus via the Balkan states and Turkey. Does anyone know if the Syrian and Egyptian borders are open?
