My 15 Days Malaysia Ride (Visited from Bangladesh)

Visited Malaysia in the last year September to watch MotoGP with Shell Team and I had a plan to visit the whole west Malaysia.

Start the Ride from KL and it was my route plan was round the border. Also I had a plan to complete iron butt.

Started the ride from KL and reach to Cameroon Highlands. Enjoyed the ride a lot. In the next day, I started my ride for Penang. I was alone and it was sometimes difficult to find the road using Google map.

That season was monsoon and that was a worse situation during the ride in ride.

However, safely reached to Penang and took rest at night. Started ride in the morning next day for Langkawi Islands.

Reached to Kuala Perlis at 3:00 and by ferry reached the most beautiful Langkawi Islands.

Spent 2 days leisure at Langkawi and I made the whole plan of Iron Butt. Reached at Kuala Perlis at 6 pm but suddenly my partner faced trouble in his bike.

However, started ride to stay at night anywhere. I forgot the place name but during the ride, we took some photo at Bukit Bintang.

Finally, started ride for Iron butt and completed around 650 km within 8 hours. But due to extreme rain, I stopped riding and stayed near at Kuantan.

I failed to complete Iron butt and felt little bit tired. I was alone and the little bit afraid at night.

Next day, I started ride for Genting Highlands and faced rain in the whole day.

Then came back to KL and stay 2 days.

This is not possible to tell the experience to Malaysia ride in some words but it was a great journey.

I felt very secure in whole Malaysia when I was alone even at night in Highway.

My Bangladeshi brothers those stay in Malaysia, helped me a lot during the whole journey.

Malaysian peoples are too good but they think we are too poor Actually, not like they think much.

By the way, I got help from road side peoples and got polite behavior from Malay and Chinese Malay's.

But I tried to contact with some Malaysian Bikers to meet them through facebook but they didn't meet. Actually, we support any foreign bikers who came to Bangladesh for travel. Whatever, over all the journey of Malaysia was very memorable.

Please to be informed you all, I'm Dewan Sohan founder of www.deshibiker.com which is one of the leading two wheeler portal and a large motorcyclist community in Bangladesh.

I will invite all you guys to come in Bangladesh for ride. We will support them anytime.

Few random photos of that ride.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
