Hi all, newbie on here so thought I would start with a ride we are organising for this June/July.
We are riding three Kawasaki KH125's from 1985 that have been rebuilt as Cafe Racers around the coastline of the UK, covering approx 4000 miles over a period of 12-14 days, we will be going anti-clockwise from Lymington, Hampshire on 24th June.
The idea is to raise funds for The Stroke Association and SANDS (Stillborn and Neo-Natal death charity) and our target is £10,000, any help and support would be very much appreciated.
We will have a support vehicle with spares and our camping gear as we decided to not take the easy option!
Two of the bikes are complete and the third is under construction, details of the ride and pics of the bikes can be found on our website;
Big Bike Charity Hike
If anyone is interested in joining us for some or all of the ride please contact us through the website.
Donations can be made direct to the charities through justgiving.com, links are on the website or contact us direct.
We have also just had a photoshoot with Mark Knopfler and John Illsley from Dire Straits, they were really pleasant guys who were very interested in our ride and offered a lot of support and tips etc.
Regards
