Crossing Brazil in rainy season
Hi all,
We are currently planing a trip through South America. We will start and finish in Buenos Aires and we have between six to eight months to do it. We plan to leave in the middle of September and at the moment we are thinking of going clockwise through Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and finally Brazil. In this direction we hope that we can hit the dry season all the way to Venezuela where we plan to arrive in about February.
The question is; Will we be able to cross the Amazon in Febrary or March between Venezuela to Manaus and from Santarem to Maraba? How are the roads in Brazil during the rainy season?
We are open to any suggestions about the route eg. go anticlockwise instead you crazy fools, its much more sensible....
Thanks alot for any info.
