WWI sites in Belgium: Ypres (the Ypres Salient, the trenches in Diksmuide, Flanders Field Museum, and of course the last post every evening at the Menen Gate in Ypres....) The whole area is dotted with war cemetaries - if you're in the area and I am around myself I'll be happy to ride with you - I live 25 km from Ypres.

Just looked at your sites Phil, great stuff
If you are going to follow Easy Company then no doubt you will be going to Bastogne. In the town there is a big museum and on the outskirts there are still foxholes dug by the Company in the defence of the town and also a Memorial for the Company which was donated by Tom Hanks
Have a great trip

Cheers Larry, I look forward to seeing your route. To me a blog is like a diary only other people can see it and share your adventure. I can sit back in years to come and reminisce....I imagine I will update the blog once or twice a week and add two or three video clips over the course when my journey starts from May 20.
cheers Phil

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
