This is a good point, first time riding in Spain I checked the weather where we were arriving and it said 18º and sunny ... at sea level, during the day. Riding to our first stop after the sun went down we passed the snow line and kept going up, I have never been so cold in my life and fell off the bike when we stopped, lol
