Off road route from North Spain/Pyrenees to North France
Can anyone help me out with a off road route/track/log up through France please? me and 10 mates were suppose to be getting the ferry to Santander with a return 10 days later for a trip to Portugal but with the date we have in mind we can only get a ferry there so the plan now is to get to Santander do a few days trail riding in the Pyrenees again and then head home off road as much as possible up through France so has anyone done this before who wouldn't mind sharing? I know about the GR tracks but they are hiking trails which is all good and well exploring on my enduro but not a fully loaded adv bike with even bigger ones in the group, we all like a challenge but these seem a bit sketchy so can anyone help us out please?
Cheers!

Hi there, when planning my trip I found the website Wikiloc - GPS trails and waypoints of the World which is jam packed full of trails and tracks people have logged which then you can download as a gpx file for your gps. Most people also upload a few pictures or a video of the trails too. If you are biking you can look at "Enduro", "Trail Bike" and "Motorcycle Trails" and maybe ATV trails too. Hope that helps.
Forgot to say the best way to look for trails is on the "world map" http://www.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/map.d...ab=0&act=58,59

Hi,
Off road is forbidden in most regions in France but authorized in Spain.
I used the road book RB10 from Vibraction for Spain and it was fine.

Mostly always forbidden in France , except special cases and locations ;
"codever" tries ton manage a way to be allowed to ride in some legal places ...very difficult . SO please do not break the -relative- peaceful situation .
RB 10 is nice .
Avoid too crowded areas in Spain , Aragon is good, Navarra less

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
