Six week South African Tour 2016/17
Hello Everyone
I'm a little new at this.
My Partner and I have returned from our amazing three month European bike trip which included Morocco in October.
So now we are thinking of taking our first ever trip around South Africa. We feel that 4-8 weeks should give us enough time to see most areas. We will be two up on a GS1200 . Currently we have a Cape Town to Victoria Falls route planned but would appreciate any advice in regards to places to stay and see. We think that this part should take about three weeks???
We are also having a difficult time deciding the route back to Cape Town from Livingston/Victoria Falls. Coastal route through Mozambique is our preferred route but any advice on a Central route through Botswana down to Cape Town??
What would your thoughts be for the best time of year, for both the weather and wildlife viewing? Thanks for your help...
This is our preliminary route
