Tour Planning App
Need some recommendations on app for iPhone that would help to plan a trip with multiple stops. Planning a trip in Japan from south to north. Looking for app that can work as gps with multiple stops input. Cheers

A great combination is to use Scenic in your iPhone and / or plan your trip in the PC using Furkot.
In Scenic you also can plan your trip with múltiple stops.

+1 for Maps.me, but with the disclaimer that the biggest problem I have with it is the poor time estimates between points. Even after countless updates and uses in Central America, Europe, and SE Asia, it is dreadful. What is of most help is the fact almost any road and trail is mapped on it. It is remarkable.

OSMAND+ and Ioverlander
I use OSMAND+ (but the "normal / free" version works the same, just is limited to 7 maps) and it works great.
Apart from that I also use I-overlander, which has lots of camping-spots etc from other overlanders.
I-overlander works also on I-phone, but the AND in OSMAND stands for Android, so not sure if its there for Iphone.
OSMAND uses the same maps as Maps.me (Openstreetmap) but has a better graphical representation. The "map style" I use almost looks like an old-fashioned paper road-map. Love it.

OSMAnd user.
I like how the view of the map can be changed to suit you- lost of different styles.
I like how I can quickly go for motor vehicle configuration (show a car symbol) to a pedestrian mode and each mode retains its configuration. The pedestrian mode I have configured to show public transport and walking routes.
There is an Iphone version .. not as good as the android version i believe.

Motion-X is an iPhone navigation app that accepts multiple waypoint routes.
I live in Japan and have tried a few apps but prefer using a Garmin.
For route planning/creation I find Ride with GPS to be very good. One of its advantages is being able to switch to Google Street View at any point of your route on the fly while planning. I find that essential in Japan.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
