Where to Stay In Chihuahua

Will be staying overnight in Chihuahua, MX (or area close by) enroute to Creel. Sorry, no date yet. Still roaming around. Any suggestions on the usual inexpensive, clean lodging with secure bike storage? Could not find anything in my search.

Merry Christmas,

Clarence

Have you contacted the HU Chihuahua Community? They'll probably know somewhere.

Hotel in Chihuahua

Try the Motel Papagayos at 3519 Avenida Industrias , a nice clean place, the managers family lives right there. I have stayed there several times, no complaints .Not a fancy hi-falutin' place but with a good secure fenced courtyard to park the bike or car.About $20 single, with TV, bath, ac.
Not exactly in the hub of social life but it provides a good place to overnight.Located north-east of city center in a somewhat industrial area. -what else- on Av. Industrias facing a big BIMBO bread bakery. To find it from the cit y center or Mex 45 which is Av Technologico go EAST on Av.Americas several blocks untill you hit Av.Industrias just before the railroad and then north untill you see the motel on the west side of the street. You will also see plenty o f other m/ hotels
along the main avenue as you come into town from the North, just ask at any which has a good parking area.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
