Are you interested in a free course on motorcycle travel?
Hi there!
I have some free time so started to put together my first book. As I'm going through my notes and reflecting on my previous trip I though why not share my knowledge with the motorcycle community.
So 2 days ago I started an email course on everything you need to know for your Big Trip. The course contains practical information on how to make your motorcycle journey a reality.
It is full course covering: documents, type of bike, preparation, gear, cultures, borders, shipping the bike, navigation, camping, off-road riding and much more. I will also share ideas and strategies to help fund your long journey (in case you do not have the money).
I've been riding motorcycles for the last 20 years and I have ridden in 40 countries across the globe. I have done two major trips in the last few years. The first one was across all of Latin America (35,000 miles, 20 Countries, 12 months - here is the ride report) and the other one two-up across Africa (10 countries, 13,000 miles, 5+ months - here is the ride report). I have also ridden around Europe, US and a couple of countries in Asia. Finally I am a certified off-road motorcycle instructor.
The course will be all online so you still need to go out and ride and/or attend a riding course.
If you are interested then you can sign-up here: http://motorcycletravel.info
The first two lessons are up. You will get the first one once you sign up and the next one 2 days later.
Thank you!
Salvador
P.S. About 400 people already signed up for course in the last two days.

Looked interesting at first but you can't continue until you register with another account (reditt). I don't want to do that.
Will follow this thread and see how it goes.

I would love to do this course before I start my first leg of my journey in Oct 2014. I'm new to Adventure biking and this would be so helpful..
Is there any way I can get the course, please.
Alex

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
