Zacatecas to Oaxaca w/o Mexico City
Anybody got any suggested routes? From what i can tell heading towards the Gulf Coast looks like the best bet, as Mexico City is Mexico City and from what ive seen at the coast it`s a little too hot for me. Any suggestions¿

Zac.Zac to Oax. Oax
From Zacatecas just travel down Mex 45 to Morelia and pick up Mex 15 east to Toluca, all nice easy and scenic highways , then from Toluca you can dodge down through Cuernevaca and avoid all of Mex.DF and go to Mex 190 at Izucar de Matamoros then Oaxaca. Beautiful roads , should all be really green country now with the wet season.

If you are interested in pyramids, you could head to Teotihuacan, just north of Mexico City ( traffic not bad), then zip around the east side of the city to end up at the city of Peubla for the worlds largerst pyramid. Then off to Oaxaca.
Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
