Anyone in Indonesia? Fancy a coffee or beer?
Hi,
Veronika and I are passing through Indonesia, currently in Flores, we keep hearing that there's people traveling on bikes too and missed them by a night or two. We met a lovely bunch in Dili when we were waiting for our bikes from Australia. It was great to pass information on and we're looking for others to do the same.
If your in the islands of Indonesia and fancy meeting up, post a reply!
Lee and Veronika.

Hi Lee and Veronika,
Welcome to Indonesia! Selamat Datang di Indonesia!
Hope you enjoy the ride.
I'm in Jakarta, quite far from Flores. So I'll have my coffee here. If you need any assistance let me know. So many friends here and there that surely glad to assist other travelers like you.
Safe ride!

Indonesia
Hi
We have recently arrived in Surabaya in Java, hoping to get our car back today from the shipping container and then drive towards towards Sumatra and then head down through the islands to Dili to ship to Australia. Did you ship from Darwin to Dili, was it a ro-ro or container shipping? We would be really interested to find out more details, including shipping agents please. It's possible we will meet you somewhere but if you could let us have any details by email sue@nworth.co.uk or on the Hubb we'd be grateful please. We shipped from Cambodia to Surabaya and can give you details if you want them.
Many thanks
Sue

Hello Sue!
We're in Lombok, Gili Islands and will be heading to Bali within a week or so.
As far as we're aware there's only shipping routes, no roro's to Darwin. I'll contact a bunch of travellers that was going your way that used a separate company to us. So there's at least two companies.
Where are you now?
I'll copy and paste this to your email too.
Lee.

In any event, Ill be in Sulawesi for a few more weeks. Then might be heading to Flores (any specific advice for Flores?)
Maybe our paths could cross!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
