You may find that it's just dirt under the seal. A bit of grit build up inside the seal can cause the leak.
Pull the dust seal away from the fork - carefully so you don't damage it - and clean inside and up against the seal.
Then with great care, use something very thin and preferably plastic - good old 35mm film works well - and work it inside the seal and around and in and out to clean INSIDE the seal. Take GREAT care not to damage the seal lip, and you may find it's fine for a long time.

Do as Grant mentioned but just cut a plastic mineral water bottle up into a 75mm square, trim the corners round and gently slide down and into the fork seal. Angle it in such a way that as you rotate it around the circumference of the seal it lifts any crud up and out. Piss easy and can be done in a few minutes.

I carry a slice of an old credit card for this. It sits un-noticed in my tool kit until, once in a while, I really need it. Not foolproof, but it works more often than not.
I also carry spare fork seals. Yeah, most seals can be found almost anyplace, but they don't take up any space and it can be really nice not to stress about looking for new ones.
Hope that's helpful. Two threads in as many days on leaking fork seals in far-flung corners of the world: must mean something.

I have found the seal kit in KL will take with me to Indonesia. Got a line on mechanic to put them in.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
