Shipping Darwin to dili
Hi guys I'm hopefully looking at shipping my motorcycle from Darwin to Dili over the next few months (very flexible with time frame). Is anyone else looking at doing a similar thing and would be interested in sharing costs/the joys of the shipping process with me? I've emailed anl and bollore and I am still waiting on a reply. I am also hoping to possibly store the bike for anywhere from two weeks to two months in Darwin if anyone had any suggestions?

Hi there Zoe. Im looking at starting my trip & shipping my bike over to Timor from Darwin late March when the Timor/ Indo weather starts drying out. Had a recent quote from Bollore of around A$800. This was LCL loading so didnt need to buy whole container or need to find others to fill container. Be good to get feedback here on how you go with the shipping in reality as havnt heard of anyones recent experiences.

If plans do not get sidetracked, will be looking at doing the same myself, Darwin to Dili, sometime between end of Jan late Feb. I have already got quote and email contact at both ANL and PJ Customs who to the handling in Darwin.
My estimate was $1100 AUD

Hello All
I used Bollore last December and highly recommend them they make the process in both Darwin and Dili very easy. I am still riding around SE Asia and have met several other riders who were happy with Bollore.
Good Luck.
Michael.

Taking my Husqvarna 701, destination is the UK. Plans have changed a little in the last couple of week though. Going to have to delay until October.

Based on your experience how many days do you recommend i need to be in Darwin before the ship leaves port to get everything sorted out and make sure my bike is on the ship.
Thanks
