Alaska, Tok - Cabin

I am a writer by profession (I write books and screenplays), so don't often post to these groups but something just got me to thinking, so here it is. Recently, a girl on a motorbike came through here. Now, on the side in the summer months I run three cabins known as WinterCabin B and B. These are three cabins with a shared bathhouse a little off the beaten track. They are clean, cozy and comfortable. And the bathhouse is wonderful. She fell in love with it, and while I'd never thought of motorbikes, I realize now it's perfect. So if you're ever in Tok, Alaska, remember WinterCabin B and B.

Tomson's Eagle Claw

For those who prefer camping, we came accros this wonderfull bikers-only campground in Tok called Thomson's Eagle Claw Motorcycle den.
The geust book clearly show only bikers stay over there, as it even has a place where you fill in what kind of bike you ride etc.
They even have a little workshop for their guests to do any kind of maintanance on their bikes. The place has got great caracter.
They have a website at Thompson's Eagle's Claw Motorcycle Park Tok Alaska and is located at N63,19.374 - W143,00.425
We enjoyed our stay there and can recomend it to any biker, you will love it.

Thompson's Eagle's Claw Motorcycle Park

Last summer I rode around Alaska... Amazing in so many ways. Almost all my "found"camp sites where great. In fact I only stayed one night at a pay site and it was by far the coolest pay camping I have ever experienced. Thompson's Eagle's Claw Motorcycle Park is great! Vanessa was the consummate host, making sure we had plenty of water, stoking the sauna, giving me directions around town. I really can not say enough about this place (perfectly set so I stayed on my way into Alaska and on my way out).

Definitely one of the best. I stayed in the ambulance at Thompson's. Mosquito proof.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
