Hi Amzah

That is a very generous offer. We might take you up on that. We are currently in Malaysia on 2 bicycles, and may well come past Perak.

Not entirely sure about our route yet, but might be in the area in a month or so.

Cheers

Malaysia visit

Hi Amzah,
I'm currently in KL and will be heading slightly north in your direction in a few days. I’m traveling around the world on a BMW R80G/S and hope to get it cleared through customs tomorrow. It’s in a container in Port Klang at the moment, coming from Buenos Aires.

Is your offer of accommodation still open? Would it be convenient to drop by for a day or two? I’d be very interested in staying with a local family for a day or two.

Best regards,
Kevin

Hi Amzah

I am in Phuket and heading to Mal for soem riding before flying home from KL.

I would love to use your place as a base to ride from, is that possible please?

I am heading to the border tomorrow(if all goes well with the bike) and cross over on wednesday morning. I am humping all my camping gear and it would be so nice to unload it until it needs moving to the airport.

and of course Kevin, maybe we could meet for a ?

Cheers

Thanks Amzah once again. I arrived safely in KL, the bike is cleaned and detailed, it looks schmick!!!

I enjoyed my time in Batu Gajah as it was agreat base t do some loop rides. The Cameron Highlands was brilliant and as well riding with you and showing you the Geocaching ropes, we might have a convert.

I appreciate the use of the flat and hope to repay you and other riders one day once I am settled back home again.

Cheers

You welcome! The least I could do. There are few lesson learnt to better equip the little shelter for travelling bikers.
Safe journey to your next destination. See you again.

Sure will AmZah. I left your keys with Alex ops: I also left a spare fuel screen I had with me but no longer need now I am going to be where there is clean fuel.

This screen is the low pressure fuel filter(called a strainer) that sits inside the fuel pump on the Vstrom. If your bike starts to splutter and fart when the fuel level is low, this will most likely fix it

Cheers

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
