Accomodations in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
I just wanted to throw out a sweet place that DodgyDago and I have used in Bishkek that is motofriendly with a secure garage for moto storage.
The place is Sakura guesthouse and runs about 200som per night with sauna and pool! Kitchen facilities and hot showers...centrally located so you can walk to a lot of Bishkek stuff...next to the Hyatt hotel.
Their website is http://www.sakuraguesthouse.web.fc2.com

Hi Edde, just letting you know I tried the link above and it didn't work for me, sounds like a great place though. Continued safe journey! H.

I really hate to write anything like this, but I feel responsible to inform what happened in the Sakura guest house 14.05.2013. I don´t want this to happen again!
The owner of the guest house sexually abused or even raped young tourist girl. They were both Japanese and very drunk (girl had passed out) but these are not excuses.
There were three eye witnesses but the victim couldn´t remember anything next day, so what could a bunch of travellers do?
OK, after long and hard consideration time I did my part and published this.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
