Are visa's required for South America ???
Were 2 guys from the Uk who are going to travel accross South America. Venezuela to Argentina and back again. We hope to visit every country in-between are are wondering what visas, if any , are required.
We heard that we can just get along with our U.K. Passports and will not need to get seperate visas or a carnet.
cheers in advance

Don't know about the rest of the world, but for U.S. citizens Brazil requires you have a visa to enter. Found this out when checking countries for my trip next year.
Take care,
John

Hello,
you are right, you won`t need a visa and neither a Carnet for your bike. We had one, since we did not know, butr it was not requested (only once and we just did as e would not understand what he wanted so he let us through without carnet. So no problem at all!
Have a nice trip

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
