27/12 - Day 3 - 542 Km - Tilcara to Iruya to Abra Pampa to Ruta 40 to Cuesta del Hipan, to Purmamarca, to San Antonio de Los Cobres, passing in the old Cuesta del Hipan, without asphalt;
28/12 - Day 4 - 425 Km - San Antonio de Los Cobres to Cachi, to Cafayate, to Coronel Moldes;
29/12 - Day 5 - 391 Km - Coronel Moldes to San Antonio de Los Cobres, to Viaduto La Polvorilla, to Tolar Grande;
30/12 - Day 6 - 541 Km - Tolar Grande to Mina la Casualidad, to Mina Julia, to Tolar Grande to Socaire;
31/12 - Day 7 - 330 Km - Socaire to San Pedro de Atacama, to Calama, to Chuquicamata, to San Pedro de Atacama;

We ride today from our city in Jaborá to Ituzaingó on Argentina;
We leave Brazil in São Borja/RS, that have a integrated border, who facilitates to make the documentation.
To leave Brazil, in Mercosul, we can use only the ID, or if you have, the Passport, someone that have less than 18 years have to take a fathers authorization to cross.
Drink a coffee in Passo Fundo with our friend Felipe Borges, then go to Santo Angelo to talk with another one, Gilson Miranda, who help us with a flat tire, from Frédi.
We ride: 752,5 km;
Máximum speed: 123,5 km/h;
Average speed: 85,9 km/h;
All average speed: 65 km/h;
Maximum elevation: 856 meters;
Minimum elevation: 60 meters;
Start elevation: 708,5 meters;

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
