Friends,

On this day the animal caught, we left Ituzaingó aiming to cross the Argentine Chaco, where, according to good or bad language the heat is unbearable and the police "propineira".

Hit the road and ate wood, has much to see, then, we ran a lot and almost nonstop.

Between the towns of Pampa de los Infiernos and Pampa de los Guanacos, got 50 º C, which really was hell, just the gasoline Frédi and about 5 km from the police propineira, which gave us more chance to go slowly and avoid getting there fast and they have room for more. In the end, the 40 pesos were required as "contribuiciones". I think it was well paid, it is impossible to survive there.

We drove to San José de Metán, arrived late, but with the goal completed, we found a hostel and went out to dinner, taking up a Stella (hot) hehehe.

Thank you, I really love your fantastic pictures here and on your blog. I'm hoping to ride solo from Canada to Argentina starting in October this year, then continue from Argentina to Brazil. Maybe I will take a similar route as your group have, only the opposite way.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
