Little point in comparing withdrawal limits between different countries with vastlyt different conversion rates. Chile is 500 pesos to the dollar so 200,000 limit is still a paltry 400 dollars although much better than Argentinas.
I'm back in SA and heading for Argentina and have a heap of USA dollars specifically to try and avoid the silly limits and high charges that apply in Argentina (that I also understand to cause problems with credit card transactions
campervantravels, if you haven't enjoyed Argentina's financial system recently you might be in for a treat.

Not yet. We are still in Colombia but thanks a lot for letting us know. I can stock up USD in Ecuador ;-)
