Help Dreamcatcher out...

Experts of the mind report that we have approximately 60,000 thoughts going through our heads every day... Multiply that by 50 years lived, there have been about 1 billion thoughts going through my head. 90% of them have revolved around the journey I am about to take.
Leaving Denver, CO on the 30th day of November, heading south for how ever long it takes me to get to where, I am not sure.
On paper, I will be traveling through Mexico, Central America, and into South America. I have done considerable research on these areas on this site as well as ADV. I have identified a provider for insurance through Mexico but have been unable to solidify a provider through Central America and South America. I am looking for some protection around theft of my wheels, belongings, and my health. Can anybody positively identify a legitimate provider for these areas?
Thanks so much for helping me to catch my dreams!

Health insurance isn't a real problem, there's loads listed on the Links section - link on left - but insurance for the bike is nigh on impossible.

Theft of the bike is a possibility, but if you take care, isn't a big problem. Most every hotel will be happy to recommend a safe place to park it.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
