KTM down in chiquemula, GT
Hola travelers,
Seized a piston.
Am at thje Hotel Hernandez...cheap and it has an old concrete pool with clean water. Chiquemula is 20 miles west of the Honduras border.
Stop in if you are coming thru to the Copan ruins.

There is a KTM shop in Guate - at least, there was in 2008. Here's their (horrible) website:
.::Motomania::.
It was a pretty big place but hard to find; their GPS coords are:
N 14°35'31.8"
W 90°30'29.5"
Hope this helps. You can probably hire a pickup to take your bike there, or maybe even arrange it through Motomania.

sorted?
Hey Bill
good to hear you are on the road again.
how long ? how far ?
have you sorted the piston yet ?
watch those Honduras cops - they were right 'bad guys' last time we were through. I hear it's better if coming in through the 'copan' borders and down through the heart of the country.
take care . .. . . .

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
