KTM Service in South America
Hi All,
Australia crossed (twice!) am now in Sydney about to leave for South America with my KTM690. Arriving Colombia mid Oct then south. Planning for a couple of service stops on way.
Would appreciate anyone's recent experience of good mechanics/service in Peru/Chile/Argentina on KTM's.
Cheers, Ian

Jaime has a great moto shop right on the 3N/3S in Huanuco in central Peru. Can get KTM parts out of Lima in just 2 days if you need them. An official KAWASAKI shop and a SOCOPUR (KTM Peru) distributor.

He takes care of my whole fleet of bikes for my Adventure Moto Tours.

KTM Huanuco
Cheers Toby. sorry its taken me so long to pick this up. Been on the road.
Do you have an email address for Jamie at all ?. Would like to get in touch and maybe order parts in advance.
Any idea if Dunlop tyres can be sourced down there too?. Am currently running D908's which I really like.
Cheers, Ian

Ktm sa
Amigo,
I have the exact same motorcycle 2014 KTM 690 Enduro R and Felipe at Groupo Socopur in Surco (Lima) is amazing.
In Colombia if you arrive to Medellin R2R KTM is unreal too. They are two blocks away from Mira Flores and beside all the other main motorcycle shops!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
