I'm in Bolivia now, headed to Uyuni and the lagunas route in the next few weeks. Anyone else nearby interested in teaming up for some exploration off the tourist route? I also hear tell of a 5900m pass it would be fun to try...

I was going to say that all of you are way too far behind me, but I've really been enjoying Sucre so I have no clue how much longer I will be here.
Anyone know how much longer the Salar is likely to stay dry? I may head out there for a few days then return to Sucre before I do the Lagunas route to Chile....

I'm heading your way on a KLR also. If you don't make the ride until November I'll be in Bolivia. Right now I'm in Colombia.

Hi folks:
I'm planning on arriving in Bolivia sometime early November. I would *love* a partner for this part of the trip; probably the most challenging I'll have faced on my ol' V-Strom.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
