Motorcycle Insurance in Argentina
My wife and I are about to return to Argentina to get our motorcycles that we left there in Mar 2019 - and we need insurance. Last time we used Roby Speiser (Speiser Suguros) and I was very happy with the insurance we got through him, which covered all-Mercosur countries in one policy. I've reached out to him at the old email address I have, but some google-sleuthing seems to suggest he is no longer in business (?).
1. Anyone done business with Speiser Suguros recently, or otherwise know of their status?
2. Anyone obtained motorcycle insurance recently in Argentina or other Mercosur state - if so please let me know with whom and what the experience was.
I hope to get another plan like we had, that covers all the Mercosur countries so I don't have to deal with it at every border. But at a minimum I need something for Argentina.

You could try Willis. We took out a policy (for a vehicle) from them which covered all of Mercosur and Chile. They were helpful and efficient - we received the policy as a pdf before entering Mercosur, and picked up the hard copy when we arrived in BsAs. No idea whether they cover motorcycles but it's worth a check.

Thanks all for the information and suggestions.
Roby Speiser did get back in touch with me, and indeed he is no longer handling insurance for foreign plated vehicles.
However, he connected me with his aunt, Gisela, who is doing this. I started the process of getting policies through here (through Allianz).
For reference in case others come to this thread searching for insurance options, in addition to the other suggestions above, I will add Gisela's email address:
gisela@speiserseguros.com.ar

We used Gisela for insurance in november 2021, too. Still very reliable and easy to handle.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
