I had a good experience with Ecuador Freedom Bike Rental.
In March 2019 I went with friends to Ecuador. We rented bikes of different sizes, for different purposes. They reserved bigger bikes to ride paved roads and I selected a 300cc bike to ride stretches that were more rugged terrain. Self-guided tour packages worked out well for us. That means you are set up with a cellphone, pre-loaded GPS, a roadbook describing your day-to-day travels, and hotel reservations. Ecuador Freedom Bike Rental is a well-organized tour company, the trip briefing is thoughtful and the bikes are well maintained.
