Navimag ferry
Hi
it seems they have suspended the passenger service I had plans to take! . Are there any other ferries doing the same stretch the end of November towards Puerto Natales or Punta Arenas and take motorcycles ofcourse, any websites or pricing would be great
Dear Customers,
It is my duty to inform you that Navimag Ferries has decided to redirect the use of the Evangelistas Ferry to a cargo service starting from September. For this reason, the passenger transport service has been suspended on this ship on the Fjords Route (Puerto Natales – Puerto Montt and Puerto Montt – Puerto Natales).
Due to the above, all reservations which have been made from September will be cancelled and we shall proceed to return 100% of the deposits to our passengers and customers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. However, I wish to inform you that we are presently looking for a new Ferry in the market, so hopefully we will be able to reinstate this service as soon as possible.
Sincerely yours,
Hector Henriquez N.

Bad news, you can always ride the Careterra Austral. But what about the people living on Puerto Eden ?

We took ferry last week from Puerto Chacabuco to Puerto Montt, we were by car but met bikers on board with bike. Bookings for the ferries seem to open one month in advance.
Good luck.

Does anyone know if they ferry bikes from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales?
I looked at their website and they only talk about Puerto Montt to Puerto Chacabuco.
When I try booking for a passenger trip Puerto-Montt to Puerton Natales, there are no options for cars/bikes.
Maybe I am misunderstanding something.
thanks

Would think that either their websites arent working properly or you havent looked at the right spot. I took that ferry from Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt this april and for sure there where a lot of vehicles including some motorbikes on that ferrytrip.
In Puerto Chacabuco theres no docking facilities so the ferry just stops for a while outside the village and small boats come along and the ferry unload some supplies into the boats.
Epic trip through some amazing scenery.
