Ongoing blogs in South America
Like to see a list of ongoing blogs in Central- or South America, or on their way to South America or just finished their trip in the last 3 months.
These blogs have most of the time a wealth of info about routes, closures, border crossings, personal experiences, etc, and like to use this info for my next trip to South America, Been googling and looking in the Hubb forums a few days now and do not really find what I am looking for, so I try it here
I just finished a trip a few days ago and one early this year
Check it out and let start with this one on the list.
If the owners of the blogs below see there "Last Known Location" is wrong or do not want to be on this list, PM me and I will make the changes!

We are in a hiatus in our South America trip, but we'll be back at it next month. We spent Oct to Mar, 2010, in Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina.
Next up -- Uruguay, Brazil, and points north/west....

Hi Scooper,
I'm in SA at the moment (Peru) having ridden down from Alaska. I was riding north in 2009 when I got fed up with fixing my Beemer, shipped it back to Europe and bought a DR650 in the US. Hence my blog is a little disjointed.
Basically 2009 Chile/Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil/Paraguay/Bolivia/Peru. 2010 Mexico/Central America. 2011 Central America/Colombia/Ecuador/Peru.
There's a link to my site in my sig line.
Happy planning!

New to Horizons Unlimited?
New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
