Head's up for Xmas meet in Peru

I suppose if you want a Xmas gathering of overland people, you have to be prepared to put yourself out there, huh? ;-)

HU meet in Colan, Peru! One room with two beds available
where I'm staying, about $15 for the room (hey, it's not my place...)
as well as secure bike parking (on dust,
not cement). Plenty of other accomodation available at this
resort town until AFTER Christmas, when all the
holiday-makers arrive.

Directions:
Drive about 2 hours south of the Ecuador border of
Macara to reach Colan. It's due west of Sullana.
After the turn-off, head down the
hill straight towards the ocean. Two streets before the
dead-end/ocean take a left. About 100 meters in, you'll see a
fenced area on the left, with a double gate painted with
animals. Two entrances further down you'll see a white Chevy
van. Knock on this smaller door.
