I need advise on selling my Chilli registrated bike in Colombia. My trip is about to finish. But as I cant take my bike home I would like to sell it. I have no idea on the legal mathers involed in such an operation though. Is it possible to sell it to an other traveler, who could then drive it back south again, through a Colombian notaria? Or to a person in Colombia, altough I think that probably there will be a hudge import tax. Or can I just go to some bike dealer somewhere and sell it without papers? I even have the puppy dream for the bike (thats the one where you find a farm where she can be used and play around freely )

The bike in question is a Chilli registered Honda 150 NXR Bross. Its a small bike, but she is a fighting little hellcat. I have done 14.000 km, making the bike have a total of 34.000 km, and there is still probably a good 3000k to go before i reach Bogota, I am in Banos Equador now. Never had any trouble. Of cource I wasnt going fast when its steep uphill or over 3.000m but who cares.
Its with pain in my hart that I have to sell it but shipping and importing the bike to Belgium would just be to expensive. I paid 1.500 US dollar for it but would be happy enough to get 800 US for it at the end.

So if anybody has any advise on what I can do. Please, shoot. Becausse I have no idea on how to tackle this puppy.
