The Chilean ripio on TdF is all pretty good, apart from the road the big trucks use between Cerro Sombrero and San Sebastian which has some bad corrugations in places. I rode the direct route from San Sebastian to Porvenir along the side of Bahia Inutil last week and it was in really good condition.

Don't go to Camping Club Nautico. It's closed, but you can still let yourself in. There are no baños or agua. Send me a PM and I'll give you an address and directions to a friend who'll let you stop at her place for a night. May see you in Pta Arenas (Paraguaya 150) as I'm waiting for tyres.
Suerte, Mick
