Tires in Patagonia, southern Chile Argentina
Hy
I am heading south *actually in Puerto Montt. But my tires wont cary me until Ushuaia and back to BA. So i want to buy them somewhere here. The problem is that i need 18 inch 140\80 and 21 inch 90\90 *KTM LC4 so the shops normally dont have it... even shipping from santiago seems to be a problem *if you dont want to ride on motocross tires since they dont serve for more than 3000 km.
Does anyone know a shop from puerto montt or 1000 km south, southeast who could help me. Bariloche, Osorno, Punta arenas, ushuaia if possible
Cheers
PS> Also looking for company if anyone is around..

Hi.
Maybe Sandra/Javier at Dakar Motos in Buenos Aires could give you some answer. Did you tried an email to them?
Hugs!.

Contact Gonzalo at Motoescar in Punta Arenas. He seems to be able to do and sort just about anything.

He is currently fixing my wife's rear shock on her Aprilia.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
