Boris,
A few months ago it was reported that you can enter from Brazil to Venezuela with a vehicle (car or motorcycle), but you won't be able to exit with the vehicle from Venezuela to Colombia. Hopefully the situation has changed.
Venezuela is a beautiful country. Use typical precautions and you should be fine. Watch out for motorcycles between cars. For three lane highways, the space between the furthermost left lane and the center lane is heavily used by motorcycles. Cars drivers respect that motorcycles will use this lane and motorcyclist assume it is their right to lane split at high speed.
Its a nice ride from Georgetown to Lethem...in the dry season. You could be telling a mud story if you try this road in rainy season. I recall the road was mostly compact dirt with gravel in places. In 2012 there were a few sections with extra large puddles that took up the whole road. I rode this area in November.

There is shipping container service out of Georgetown.

Hi,
I did this 500 km gravel road in december 2013 in 2 days. A lot of mud, but you can do it with good tyres.
I live in Paramaribo, if like a o4 coffee.
