I don't know the exact stats of how many HUBBers are UK citizens (a large percentage as per the attendance at HU UK meeting compared to other countries?!??) and I clearly don't know whether this tragic biking brother saw the WN advert on HU, but I believe the health warning underneath the World Nomads advert on the HU homepage should be even more explicit that UK riders aren't covered if they are on anything bigger than a moped OR if they are using said moped (or any m/c) as their main means of transport.
There was a long thread on the HU FB group, including a screenshot of some of the relevant policy exclusions (supporting my 125cc/main mode of transport comment). This entire FB HU thread seems now to have disappeared. Can't find it anymore by browsing or using the FB search function  Nor can others.
I did find a partial version of it though, in the cache of my cell phone.
I'll just take a screenshot of this HUBB thread now, for posterity.
