urgent :-(
hell`people,
i find myself in a sticky situation... I have been traveling from El bolson in argentina with plans on reaching columbia. Although about 4 weeks into the trip i have had a bad accident due to a ... goat. I sustained a punctured lung, 4 broken ribs, broken collar bone and severe whiplash.
my health insurance is flying me home, and i would like to sell the bike ASAP. its a 2006 model DR650 with 20,000miles on the clock, brand new pirelli 50/50 rear tyre (2 days old) and a after market fuel tank of 27 litres and a gel saddle. the bike only needs a new clutch cable (which i have) and a new ear shifter. The bike got out of the accident allot better then me. Has also just had valves adjusted.
bike is in La Rioja
If u are interested contact me on +5491133252337 as im in a hospital bed. i fly home in 7 days so must be fast. i can help sort out paperwrok.
i only ask $1800US for a bike worth $3500
cheers people

Hi Andrew
Really sorry to hear about your mishap. If you can't get a fair price for it, can you leave it somebody's shed and return to it in a while when you've recovered? Or get it trucked to B-Aires where people can help store the bike?
Those goats are a nuisance. My nemisis in Africa was a sheep...
Get well soon
Chris

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
