TdF Class of 2012-2013
Greetings Travelers to the End of the World!
I am one of13 riders, just arrived in Cartagena, Columbia, from the San Blas Islands, Panama via the Stahlratte. An amazing time was had by all.
Maybe half of us are planning to be in or around Ushuaia for Christmas/New Years. Gather extra wood and make room around the camp fire! Many stories to share and more friends to meet.

Anyone need a break before hitting Santiago, Chile, pm me, or drop me an email at lc at lorrainechittock dot com. I'm two hours north of Santiago, one km off the PanAm over looking the ocean. Free camping if you like dogs, (and they like you!)

If you ride through Ushaia to the extreme southwest end of town there is a campground called Lapatia. That is as far south as you can go on a MC. Most have there picture taken with the Lapatia sign in the background. If you look at the wooden cover for the sign around the top edge is the spot where Gregory Frazier carved his name in the wood. Last year I got there early and did not want to wait for Christmas. So I headed to Torres Del Paine in Chile. That was a Christmas I will never forget. So you know you have options. Dave

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
