We arrived yesterday at the campsite. good place!
Guys on the way down as someone said, you can stop at Hostal Argentino in Rio Grande. Graciela the owner is fantastic and the place is great! We plan to spend new year with her there, with a full lamb asado, cant turn it down! We are preparing the menu for Xmas dinner so ride hard to make it to the End of the worl!
see you!
Ted, we heard you and Ushi crashed, hope you are both ok?

It is not a bad place really but....
Unfortunately my newish german carbuerator has stopped talking with my american f650.
It does not look like I will make it to enjoy the christmas meal in Ushuai. Am looking for a mechanic or a truck . Anybody have contacts in San Julian? I´ve emailed the contact people here but being right before christmas I doubt anybody is checking their hu accounts.
Anyway maybe see you on the road... I may be in a bus but at this point what to do?
cheers

Thanks Ted for the offer to look at the carb. Turns out that Ushi, Ali, Carlotta y Raj pulled int to the camp ground and are helping me sort it out and on top of that planning a marvelous christmas dinner!
The carb has a long and bitter story but we are thinking now that it might be an electrical problem---
maybe see you in Ushuaia
Cheers
Sue

X-mas
Hi Susan,
Happy New Year, a bit late, but it still counts...
We forgot to change email.
Where are you now?
Still drinking warm water?
Lots of love
Uschi, at the moment in snowy Ushuaia

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
