That's good to hear, I may well be travelling some of the countries you list with 2m/70cm antenna on bike. The only questions I've had myself, ( so far) is at fuel stops, they all ask "imusic?" pointing at my helmet in the ear area.
womble > I think a lot depends on if you have " legit " equipment on board. If you have licensed equipment valid in the country you are in there should be no issues. If it is something else  there is surely a risk of confiscation. However I think most boarder chaps won't even notice as long as its not too "different" from normal broadcast antenna. Be friendly, smile a lot, shake hands a lot and flutter your eyelids if you feel it will help.
