s, good fishing and a great spot to chat to other overlanders. Yes you are a 30 min drive outside of St Louis but I actually quite liked being able to do day trips into the city before returning to the calm of the Zebrabar. It also has a decent equiped workshop (fixed the exhaust on my landcruiser there).
