Yes it is possible to get a Cameroon visa in Abuja (this was around new years 07/08). Incidently, Congo Brazaville has an embassy just 100 m down the same road as the Cameroon embassy.
Cameroon visa was normally a 3 day wait, but since we arrived just between christmas and new years, the ambassador was very forthcoming and sped up the process so we could get it the same day.
Congo Brazzaville has a normal 3 day wait too. But you can pay an express fee so you get it pretty much instantly. I don't think we were extended any favours. It seemed to be normal practice for this embassy.
I was going to post the GPS coords for the embassy, but just found out that my GPS is out of power. I can only recharge my GPS on my mount on my bike, which is currently in the shop for an overhaul. Just jump in a taxi and ask for either of the two embassies. That's what I did when I first needed to find them. I'll come back to this thread in a couple of days and post the coords if you need.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Torsten. If I understood right the only place to get the visa is Niamey. I have found a GPS point of Cameroon embsy in Abuja. But If you have a point of Congo embsy, it will be useful too.
