Safe motorcycle parking in Gambia (4 months)

I'm looking for somewhere I can store 4 small motorcycles in Gambia, preferably near banjul. Happy to pay, it would be for around 4 months and hopefully somewhere secure!

Does anyone know a good place to start?

Sakuta Camping outside Banjul (I have used twice, they store many bikes and vehicles). Safe and reliable.

Hello,
I am also planning a tour of Africa by few parts. My concern is about temporary imports in the countries I will park my bike. How do you plan to manage it? There is no problem with leaving the bikes in Banjul and coming back to leave the countries more than 4 months later? Thank you,
Guillaume

Suggest you speak directly to Joe at Sakuta Camping as he was able to resolve this for me in Gambia. In Togo I went to see the head of customs and he agreed I could leave the bike for 6 months. I suspect the answer differs by country and my bike is currently in Cameroon with an expired TIP

Hi Bartosz

Afraid it’s in a small shelter owned by a motorcycle contact who is doing me a favour, so not a possibility for a car (let alone 2!).

Regards

Simon
